Description: Hi!
I am former owner of A Mano Yarn Center in west LA. I love teaching people how to knit-especially ones that swear they can't do it! I teach with skill, compassion and humor. It is after all, just playing with sticks and string!

"One word to sum up my experience with Annette: AMAZING! I was convinced that I could not and would not be able to learn how to knit- in steps Annette- fun, spunky and very intelligent (one of those rare people you meet who really HAS done and experienced just about everything under the sun) We jumped right in and started knitting stuffed animals (already have an elephant and alligator under my belt) then moved on to baby booties! If you are wanting to learn how to knit- CALL ANNETTE!! She will get you hooked! :) "

"I'm a guy who's never done any sewing or knitting in my life. Annette made it so easy and made me feel comfortable about doing something that's usually associated with "women's work". She is really good at explaining things clearly and is very patient and above all, FUN! She also gave me great tips on what kinds of yarns to use, how to pick and combine colors and the many possible textures and patterns I can use. I've already made a very professional looking scarf for my mom and I'm now working on a hat for my girlfriend. I'm going back to learn some more advanced techniques soon. I couldn't recommend Annette more highly to anyone interested in creating great things with knitting!"

"Annette Corsino has been a wonderful teacher. I went to see her with a specific knitting problem and have stayed with her ever since. Her skill is exceptional, her patience is the same. I am an intermediate level knitter who needs lots of hand holding. Annette has worked through every problem that I have had while teaching me new skills every step of the way. She is also a lot of fun to be with. She has many years experience as a knitting teacher and is perfect for beginner to advanced knitters. I am very glad that I found her."
