"Angelica is absolutely fabulous! I have been taking voice lessons with her for 2 years and have seen tremendous growth in my voice. She has worked with me to make the lessons worth while by choosing content that I am interested in. She has also helped me expand my repertoire and encouraged me to try new genres. She gives constructive criticism, always with a smile, and makes you feel like she really cares(which she does!). It is clearly not about the paycheck. She applies her entire heart and soul into her students. She is very knowledgeable about the voice in general and has great analogies and exercises to help you reach your goals. She pushes you to step outside of your "comfort zone." She is also very professional and talented, with many professional friends to assist you on your way to success. Because she has a flexible schedule and is understanding she is perfect all sorts of people whether you are a student or a full-time professional. Every time I leave after a lesson I feel refreshed and have a sense of accomplishment, no matter how stressed I am about school or life in general. She helps you feel very comfortable and makes voice more than a hobby. "

"I recently began preparing for an audition for The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City for Musical Theatre. I changed my audition piece several times, for various reasons, and each time Angelica would help with the search for a song that would suit my voice and that I could relate to. She helped me calm my nerves and step out of my "comfort zone." She also encouraged me every step of the way with constructive criticism and helped me work out every minuscule detail from voice to acting to wardrobe. She is a perfectionist when is comes to voice and vocal performance. The hard work she pushed me to achieve really paid off. I was accepted into AMDA and was awarded a scholarship for my audition. I usually get extremely nervous in auditions, but by being so prepared with Angelica's expertise it came natural and I felt at ease as soon as I began to sing. "

"I started lessons with Angie my junior year of high school because I wanted to start preparing for my college music auditions. She is truly a wonderful teacher, and after just months with her all of my skills improved. We worked on extending my repertoire and she challenged me with higher levels of music. We worked on songs in English, French, German, and Italian. I am very grateful for everything she did for me; even when I wanted to give up, she was my motivation. In the spring, I auditioned at over five different colleges and universities. After receiving all of my financial aid, I received over $25,000 in vocal talent scholarships alone. If you are looking for a new voice teacher, I definitely recommend her. She's fabulous at what she does, and you will love her! Now, as a freshman music education major in college, I am so happy I had Angie as my teacher. Everything I learned with her has paid off in my college studies. She put me one step ahead of most of the other freshmen. I have some of our old lessons that she recorded, and I still listen to them!"

" I was extremely nervous about singing in front of people, and was even more nervous about getting picked apart by a singing teacher. Thankfully, I found a professional, yet down to earth teacher who not only tore my feeble singing to shreds, but also provided ample encouragement to improve. Angie possesses such an intimate knowledge of human vocal mechanics that allows her to quickly zero in on what is giving a singer trouble. She then pulls out a bag full of tricks that focuses on strengthening that weak link. By focusing on the rudimental source of trouble, the techniques she has taught me continue to build power and tone. I perform in a small cover band in the Saint Louis area. After only a couple months of working with Angie, compliments shifted from “Your band is really good” to “You have a great voice!” And thanks to such an amazing teacher, my nervousness on stage has decreased dramatically, providing a level of confidence that allows me to really enjoy performing.
