  "I took guitar lessons from Andrew while I was in college. Not only was he super knowledgeable about the guitar, scales, chords, and how to play songs, but he understood the music and the theory behind it which helped me not only to play and understand music better, but gave me the tools to create my own music. Because of this, he's not your typical guitar teacher who just teaches you your favorite Jack Johnson songs. His understanding of music in a theoretical sense allows him to teach a plethora of instruments, including keyboard instruments like the piano and the accordion, simply because he understands how notes work together. The best thing I learned from Andrew was how to learn songs by ear, so that I wouldn't have to lookup tabs on the internet or learn to read music. It's great being able to sit down with a guitar and my portable CD player and learn a song on my own! Thanks Andrew!"
