I love sharing my knowledge and passion for music with others. I find that teaching is as beneficial for my musical development as it is for my students’. Since attending and graduating for Berklee College of Music with a dual major in Performance and Jazz Composition I have been selected for the Boston Globe’s Critic’s Picks on several occasions, attended the prestigious Betty Carter’s Jazz Ahead program in Washington, DC, performed at some of the top jazz venues in the country with Grammy-winning and nominated artists, and recently released my debut album “Opus” as an Armored Records Recording Artist.

I have studied with the best jazz educators and have had the pleasure to pass on that experience to my students at the Litchfield Jazz Camp.

"Andrei has taught me for about 9 months now and I have seen dramatic improvement in every aspect of my musicianship. His teaching method is custom tailored to my musical direction but also rooted in traditional forms and ideas. He provides constructive criticism each week when I bring in new music and he obviously enjoys teaching. I have learned much more in my time with him than i have in all my previous self-study. Andrei makes the lessons fun and he is patient and challenging as he helps me to grow as a composer."

"My son has been taking lessons from Andrei for the past nine months. If there was a way I could give Andrei more than five stars, I would definitely do so -- he deserves at least ten stars!!! My son and I both feel very fortunate that Andrei crossed our paths. Not only is he an extremely talented musician, he is a very well rounded educator.

We learned of Andrei and his many talents and accomplishments while I was doing a Google search for music mentors for my son. Even though we live over a thousand miles apart, my son is able to take lessons via Skype. It's amazing that technology has made this type of learning so readily available.

My son looks forward to his lessons every week. The growth in his knowledge of music theory and the compositions he has been putting together bring tears to my eyes, they are so beautiful.

Last week when we were in New York we were able to meet Andrei personally. I had felt like I'd known him already, as we have talked on the phone several times, and communicated via Facebook and e-mail. He is a very approachable, conscientious, kind, and patient gentleman.

I can't say enough good things about our experiences with Andrei and hold him in the highest esteem. "
