Hello! My name is Ali. My grandmother taught me how to crochet when I was 9 years old in 1999. It is something I love to do in any spare time I can find. It is a very relaxing craft and can be done by anyone :)

I graduated from RIT in February 2013 with a Bachelor's of Science in ASL Interpreting, so I am fluent in American Sign Language, as well as Cued Speech. I have been a tutor since 2002 in a variety of subjects from grade-school science to college-level calculus.

I truly have a passion for teaching and I hope you will give me the chance to share my skills with you!

"Ali was a pleasure to work with. I told her of the project I'd need to work on (crocheting 30 granny squares!) and she took the information I gave her and had the pattern to teach me what I needed to know. I went in with very little experience, and came out knowing not only how to now read a pattern, but I've already completed 14 of my 30 squares in only 11 days! Ali is knowledgeable, sweet and a really good teacher. I'd highly recommend her to anyone learning how to crochet for the first time, or needing to brush up on their skills! Thanks, Ali!"
