I have studied music for fifteen years and been teaching for the last five of those. The greatest element of the gift of music is the opportunity to share it with others. I completed my music major at Loyola University with department honors, Summa Cum Laude. Since then, I have directed and written two full length musicals. Currently, I direct my church's choir and lead worship along with running my business. My mission is to develop the talents within my students to their fullest potential. I am willing to travel and bring a full-sized keyboard or guitar for students that sing or do not have a piano. I look forward to hearing from you.

"Al Gorney is a very patient teacher who works hard and has a passion for what he teachers. This is not just another person trying to make money but he is a guy that actually cares about your child's future and what is going on in their life. There are many days when he comes for a lesson and that day has been a really bad one. He sits there and listens to my problems giving me advice about issues I may be dealing with. He is a gentleman and doesn't push his way into your business but he waits for you to open that door of communication about your private life. He is a man of God that is doing the will of the Lord not just doing something he has to do because someone told him or he needs extra money. This is his full time job and absolutely loves it. He wouldn't trade this for the world. He is very kind and just asks for cooperation and practice from each of his students. He always looks at the good in people and never talks bad about anyone. "

And how to bring the lesson into terms that will help you to do your best, using things that appeal to the age as well as other interests of the student.
