Alan Tauber

Spent over 45 years playing drums from the drum set to African, Cuban, Native American, Haitian, and many hand drumming forms. Master teacher, I have been an assistant to Famoudou Konaté, Mamady Keita, Wadaba, Billy Konaté and Sayon Camara.

Alan is known worldwide as an expert in djembe and dunun. With his lovely wife Fanta, they bring the rich heritage of Guinean, Malian and Senegalese music to Boston.

Nightly drumming classes for adults, kids classes during the week, specialty classes and workshops with the masters. Drum circles at least twice a month usually on a Friday night.

Beginners welcome! Professionals too.
