I am a daughter, sister, wife, mother, cook, and housekeeper. I am the kisser of boo-boos, the finder of lost socks, and the official bedtime story reader. AND I AM A KNITTER.

My mom was always a knitter; but the blankets, stockings, scarves, and basic sweaters she knit never interested me. Not until high school did I discover the love, challenge, and true art of knitting. My first sweater was covered in cables. It was a daunting and frustrating task, but I didn't let those damn cables hold me back. This knitting determination has taken me to Philadelphia (to study all things textile) and back, and has given me the opportunity to do what I really love in life: designing knits and teaching others this very fullfilling craft.

I want to take my knowledge of machine knitting and translate it into hand-knitting to create truely unique patterns and designs. My goal as a designer is not to design just to sell, but to design things people will love and to empower others to do the same!
