"I was ten years old and in fifth grade when my mom announced that she had won four one-hour voice lessons. Truthfully, I wasn't thrilled when I heard about it. My opinion soon changed after the first lesson. Natalie was one of the nicest people I've ever met. She was very encouraging and taught me a lot and I walked away from each lesson with more information about singing in my head. It was very clear that she knew a lot about singing and was good at passing down the knowledge through teaching it to me. Before this I had had some lessons, but none had really focused on singing like these. And, Natalie wasn't only a voice teacher. One lesson she took out a book about the human body and gave me a very thorough explanation on how the diaphragm works and. She explained how by breathing in a certain way using my diaphragm, I'd be able to sing louder and better. I'd recommend Natalie for voice lessons to anyone who's looking for a good teacher to learn more about singing. "

"I had been an instrumental musician (and embarrassingly bad vocalist) for forty years and finally decided that I should learn to sing. Natalie is an amazingly intuitive, focused, smart teacher. We had limited time because she was moving to Ohio and the progress I made in that time surprised me (and floored my wife). She skipped ear training and theory and all the things I didn't need. She taught me lots of mechanics and how to breathe, in other words, exactly what I needed to learn. You couldn't ask for a better teacher."

"I came to Natalie at age 23, with no formal singing training or choral experience, two steps away from tone-deaf. I can now sing well enough for my own enjoyment, and even to play out with my trusted guitar on occasion. She is kind and patient, so much so that she managed not to have cringed in my early lessons at awful, awful pitch. I only wish I could still take lessons with her."

"I did a few months of voice lessons with Natalie shortly before she relocated from CT to OH. I also knew Natalie from community connections. I think she's an absolutely wonderful teacher, not only personality-wise (she's very kind and funny, very encouraging) but in terms of her ability to teach me how to understand what singing involves and how to use breathing, posture, and face position to best use. She videotaped each lesson on with her laptop and gave me the DVD right away for home practice: what a great idea!"

"I am a classically trained musician in voice and piano, but had always wanted to learn how to play the guitar. I learned about a higher note and found Natalie to be incredibly good at her job. She was very good with me as an adult learner. In general, I think that Natalie is very good at meeting people where they are; helping to encourage people where they needed it and push them to their better potential. Natalie is great! Try her out for a few lessons--you won't be disappointed."

"My name is Katherine :) I took singing and piano lessons with Nathalie for almost a year, since then I have improved a lot. I never took a singing class before so I asked her to start from the most basic. She was great explaning every single step. She explained to me how to breath with the diafragm and all what happens inside when we sing. The warm ups helped me to find my weak singing areas, so we focussed on them. Nathalie is an awesome teacher, friendly and very patient, easy to understand. It is worth it!!!"

"When I went to Yale for half a year as a part of my PhD I missed singing in a choir. I have been singing in a choir since I was very young and singing is very important to me. I found Natalie's page and asked her if she would give me singing lessons. I really enjoyed the lessons and she taught me many very useful techniques. I felt these private singing lessons were so good that I have been taking lessons in Denmark ever since. "
