"I hired Safiya to perform at my dads 75th birthday bash, we also hired a live band to play and she was able to belly dance to the live music for our guests. She was just Amazing!!! Safiya was elegant and professional, her dancing was just mesmerizing and we had a ton of fun learning to do Dabke at the end of her performance. I would most definitely recommend her for ANY event!!! In fact myself and a friend have recently signed up for Safiya's beginner classes, because we want to learn how to dance like that."

"Safiya was hired to dance at my Arabian Nights themed Anniversary party. While her rates were a little higher than the other dancers I talked with, her professionalism and the videos and pictures I had seen helped me and my wife decide to hire her. We were NOT disappointed. Safiya did an exceptional job performing for us, she is a lovely woman and a beautiful dancer. My guests really enjoyed the show. She tailored everything to how we wanted it, even to wearing a costume in the colors we requested. Our favorite part was the sword dance she did on the floor, it was very sensual but elegant. "

"Safiya is a really great teacher. I have had so much fun taking private lessons from her for the past 4 months now and am ready to start taking group lessons now. She explains everything very easily and has a ton of patience as well as a friendly, sunny personality. I have always felt like I have two left feet, but Safiya has really helped me build my confidence. She also includes information on the music we are using and talks about the rhythms and some of the cultural stuff which is really cool. I would highly recommend her as a dance teacher! "
