I studied Latin in jr. high and high school and considered it as a course of study for college - but didn't! I received an Elementary Education/English degree instead.
I worked for a major publishing company for several years, then taught English in Japan. Returning to the U.S. I married and had children.
I home schooled my children 18 years, teaching them Latin and have continued with other home schooled students since graduating my own. I also teach Latin at a private classical school in Valencia.
I have been using the Ecce Romani curriculum since 1998.

"What can be said about Marci Parsons? I could gush on and on for hours but will try to be direct and helpful to anyone reading this review. Marci is the teacher EVERYONE wants--patient, kind, humorous, witty, and genuinely interested in the student as well as the study. She is able to explain trouble areas in more than one way until she finds what communicates to the student(s) she is teaching. Having spent a very concentrated one year studying with Marci (during which time they successfully covered 3 years worth of material), my daughter is a better young lady as well as an Honors Latin student at the classical school she recently transferred to. Even no we no longer homeschool, she still desires to be with her beloved Mrs. Parsons if only just to eat a cheeseburger and catch up on things. If you find yourself or your child in need of Latin tutoring, do not hesitate even for a moment in contacting Marci Parsons. You will not only learn the language but will be a better person for it."

"Marci Parsons has been teaching my son for freshman year Latin. She has small classes where she focuses on the students, making sure they fully comprehend the material before continuing. The students enjoy the class immensely. Not only are they learning Latin, they are also being trained in the intricacies of English grammar. I highly recommend her classes to anyone who wants to learn Latin."

"Marci Parsons is a wonderful teacher. She taught me Latin for 3 years. Besides learning Latin, I also learned a lot of English grammar from Marci. She is currently teaching my younger sister who has a very different learning style than I do. Marci is able to figure out how people learn and explain things differently so each individual can understand. She is a word worm who loves to learn knew words and show you how to find out what words mean. I definitely recommend Marci! I give her an A+ :)"
