LT Marks

I started playing Baritone in grade school band. I then switched to Sousaphone in Junior High (now known as Middle School). In High School, played tuba during concert season and marched with a sousaphone. Added bass during the summer between my Sophomore and Junior years in High School. Played tuba for 2 years in the University of Oregon's Marching Band as one of sixteen tuba players.

I have continuously played bass guitar since I first took it up in high school in various bands, jazz ensembles and church praise teams. I have practical real-world experience, and try to teach my love for music to every one of my students.

I require a minimum of an hour per day of practice time for each of my students, six days per week. This is the best way I have found for a student to gain the skills needed to play in any band.
