Kristy Poux

Kristy is passionate about Massage Therapy because she enjoys helping others relieve their tension, pain and stress. She believes that massage is not only physical touch, but can also be spiritually and emotionally healing. It is her personal goal to customize each and every massage session to fit the needs of every individual.

She began her massage career by attending Career Training Solutions in Spotsylvania, Virginia and received a Certificate of Completion from their 500 hour program. She then continued her education by attending Heritage Institute in Manassas, Virginia and received her Associates degree in Massage Therapy by completing their 1200 hour program. During her schooling she interned for Cara Van Epp's Medical Massage. She also worked in Stafford, Virginia in a wellness center located on 610. She is currently with Renewal Massage in Fredericksburg, VA where she continues to grow her massage practice. She is certified through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage, Licensed by the Virginia Board of Nursing, and a proud member of the American Bodywork and Massage Professionals.

Kristy has continued her education by attending classes such as Bamboo Fusion, Sacred Stone Therapy, Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy, Fijian Floor Massage and Reiki. She is constantly searching for new modalities to offer her growing client base.

In her spare time, Kristy enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends. When she isn't working, her favorite past times are reading books by her favorite author Charlaine Harris, target practice with her Papa, gardening with her Grandmother and enjoying Dark Cherry Mocha Frappachinos from Starbucks.
