  "When I first came to Maria Fattore I was a recent graduate of the Westminster Choir College (voice principal) and I was interested in furthering my technique as well as really getting a handle on some of the bad habits I had been allowed to get away with in the past. I expected to gain understanding of what it was I was doing and also what I was supposed to be doing. I received this and far more.
  
  Not only did Ms. Fattore bring to the table years of experience in both classical belle canto technique as well as modern Vernard, but she also showed me how to dig into the character to truly inform the lyric, how to build a well balanced recital and show program and how to exist with strong technique in the world of contemporary musical forms.
  
  I have used vocal exercises, as well as breathing drills , that she taught me with my private voice students, show choir, concert choir and musical theater ensembles. The keystone of the training she gave me was based in universally elemental techniques that transcend boundaries of musical genre and vocal style.
