I am graduate of Ithaca College in upstate New York with a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance and a minor in Choral Arranging, a Masters Degree in Voice from The University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, IL.
I traveled with big bands throughout the 60's: The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra with Frank Sinatra Jr, The Les and Larry Elgart Band, The Harry James Orchestra, etc.
In the 70's I sang in New York's Supper Clubs from Manhattan to the tip of Long Island.
Started teaching in 1977 at a dinner theater in Scottsdale, AZ and is where I developed the method I have used for 40 years and still use on myself as well as my students.
I've written 5 books, 200 articles, with mini lessons on YouTube.com/Sing4aLifetime09
I still perform regularly in Albuquerque, NM where I live. I have a band named "the Chrys Page Trio", and we perform at St Claire's Winery and Bistro. Come in for dinner and listen to some wonderful music out of the Great American Songbook.
