Trevor Ogata

I'm currently a student and I also work on the side. To be honest, I received a message from betterfly.com saying that they were in need of Taiko and percussion instructors so that's pretty much how I became involved in this. In terms of experience, I started the Taiko when I was 8 or so and I have since then been continually involved in Taiko everyday of my life. I am a founder of Cal Poly's Touzan Taiko and actively teach there, I have also gone through San Jose Taiko's Junior Taiko as well as their JT Performing Ensemble track [8-9 years]. Aside from Taiko I am also knowledgeable about percussion based instruments.
