I am a positive, proactive lifer struggling to change the world for the better. Often, I hear others struggling with disappointing rules in a dismal system and it spurs me on to change the world with positivity. I am a massage therapist with a near obsession with nature and the protection of the natural world.

My art finds me everywhere. I guess as is the case with most artists (I've become convinced every artist has some form of ADD) I can no longer contain it and whenever I come across a new form of expression I simply must learn everything I can which brings me to my next statement about myself... I am a learnaholic. I am a junkie for the printed word. I must marry a manufacturer of my drug of choice. Brains are sexy.

As a result I've been beading and wire working since I was 16. I've been drawing since then as well. I've been doing massage for upwards of the last six years, four of them certified. I learned to knit to control my compulsive hand situation (massage, drawing, wire working and knitting prevent nail picking, finger tapping, weight gain, cigarette addiction and a number of other hand-related habits).

I find if nothing else, I am a humanist. I've run through the mill with human body problems doing massage, and my panic anxiety has provided me with a sympathetic eye for all mothers of children, holders of jobs, payers of mortgages and/or possessors of physical or mental ailments of any kind. Life happens. If we'd all learn to forgive each other a little more for our humanness, and heal, the world might become a better place.

Needless to say, the lessons I provide have been my methods for calming a frenzied mind, stilling the worry about making the bills on time, distracting from any emotional turmoil from relationships, family or friendships, and just being good to myself and others in general. Whether the lessons come from me or another or youtube searches, I wish every hunter of knowledge wind at his back and a pocketful of yarn.
