Been crafting for my self for a great number of years . I have made quilts towels and many other little novelty items as gifts. Some of the receivers in the family still have the quilts that I have made them.

I love to design the things I make as well as make them. I enjoy playing with colour in the fabrics or the style of faces or even leaving the faces blank which makes the items even more a piece of interest. I have toyed with the idea of teaching the craft of Swedish weave for years for its a craft that has died in the form of being able to find any booklets on the shelves in the craft stores.

Did you know that doctors use to prescribe needle work to their clients in the form of a re-laxer instead of medications..?! Its a relaxing craft that will allow one to unwind while watching the news or when one needs something to do productive with their hands. In today's world of great stressing factors we all need that some thing to do just to unwind and nothing is better than paying for the needed materials and having something to show for their efforts of doing something productive with their hands vs nothing to show for burning their money on drink or smoke...

I do go to the Kitsap Weavers and Spinners Guild and I do another day of meeting with other ladies whom do Appliqué Quilts.. its a place to get some things done gather pointers and others views of and sharing the newest novelty items designed. My latest is little tumbling people with hearts for Valentine's or any-time....Working on gaining a patterns for other seasonal themes.
