I have taught and tutored students in American History, Global History, AP American History, AP European/World History, SAT II American History and World History. I also have experience tutoring college students in History courses including Ancient Civilization, European History, Non-Western Civilization, and American History. I am well-versed in all areas of History.

I am in the process of completing my second Masters Degree in History at Queens College. The emphasis of my course studies for my second Masters Degree is in Ancient Roman history. I have completed all of the coursework for my M.A. During my studies, I compiled a 4.0 GPA.

I earned my first Masters Degree in Secondary Education in Social Studies also at Queens College in 2008. I have taught various History courses at the high school level for over the past three years.

My knowledge of and passion for history comes to life in the classroom as well as during tutoring sessions. I have conducted guest lectures at Queens College in several undergraduate history courses at the request of the university’s history professors. In these lectures, I have covered topics ranging from antiquity to modern day history. I also made a presentation in a Medieval Comparative Literature class, discussing the impact of art on history. I have also conducted tutorials at Queensborough Community College. As an instructor and an aspiring historian, I believe that it is important to analyze history objectively, and I have instructed my students accordingly. History, as my students learned, is not just a science, but also an art of selectivity. Through classroom teaching and individual tutorials, I have made history exciting and meaningful for my students while preparing them for Regents exams and other standardized tests like ACT, CPE exams, SAT II History exams, and Portfolio Based Assessment Task.
