I'm a sailor with lots of experience and I love passing that experience and knowledge on to other people. Sailing is my life, and it is what I do. I Love sailing with all my soul. If you want to learn how to sail, or want to improve on your sailing skills look no further I can help you with that. As a side job I've found that just talking to people is fun, so I took some time and got my bartender certification. If you are looking for a way to serve good drinks, but aren't to good at making them yourself, or don't want to get tied up behind the bar, I can mix your drinks for you and keep your party running smooth.
I'm a fun guy to hang around, I'm very personable and approachable. I like staying in shape, and I like being active. I approach life with a seize the day type approach, and this is reflected in my sailing, and in everything I do.

"Geoff was an outstanding instructor. Going into my weekend sailing course I had no knowledge of sailing and I never could have imagined how much I'd learn about the functions and mechanics of the sailboat and actually being able to sail on my own. It was an experience I will never forget and I will always be able to credit Geoff with my knowledge of sailing. He was very patient and I could tell he truly wanted us to be successful. As nervous as I was in the beginning Geoff made it fun and easy to learn to sail. What a treat! If you want to learn how to sail, Geoff is the one to call."

"I had taken a keelboat certification program and wanted to put my lessons to practical experience. Jeff was an instructor aboard a 42' yacht that we delivered from St. Michaels MD to Ft Myer's FL. I was familiar with basic sailing but had not gone thru the ICW nor done any long term open water sailing. The first week was down the Chesapeake and the ICW. There wasn't a day that went buy I didn't learn something new. Always able to ask questions and not only be told the answer but how to find out for myself the next time. The second week was out in the Atlantic 24/7 for about 5 days. Jeff and I were on the same watch, 3 hours on 3 hours off. When it came to the navigation instruments I was not that familiar with how they worked. By the time we finished our delivery, I felt very confident in my ability to read and work the instruments. Jeff would explain or help figure out what I was trying to do, and sometimes I needed help more than once on the same subject. I would highly recommend Jeff and his services if you are a beginner or even an advanced sailor. I am preparing for a circumnavigation now and if we decide that we want help on a leg, I wouldn't hesitate to have Jeff on board to get us to our destination."
