Welcome to my page! You can find information about taking private music lessons. You can also find information on hiring piano/organ accompaniment for various functions.


Many consider music to be the universal language in the world. No matter what language we speak, the music remains the same. Music can also aid in many other areas;
* language: it uses it’s own set of symbols and terms to create sound, often terms are in foreign languages as well;
* physical education: the body needs to be trained to correctly play any instrument (including the voice!);
* math: music uses numbers in many and varied ways for beats, rhythms and many other things;
* history: each of the different styles of music took place during a different period in time, creating their unique sounds;
the list goes on and on!

    "I loved taking piano lessons with Mrs. Knowlton. I was tentative about starting piano lessons - because at the age of 47, I had never taken them before. So I started when my children began voice, and piano with Christy. She made me feel very comfortable, and was very encouraging, and even talked me into performing at her annual recital. While nerve wracking - it was rather a proud moment for me to have learned something so brand new, and been able to perform it! It was a terrific opportunity to show my children that it's never to late to learn something new. While my schedule currently precludes me from continuing - I would jump at the chance to continue lessons with Mrs. Knowlton.
