I have been sewing for over 40 years, for myself and others I have made many, many garments and quilts. I have made 5 wedding dresses and many other formal garments. I have worked in the sewing industry and also at a local quilt shop. Teaching sewing and quilting and also longarm quilting. I have finally been able to accomplish my dream of sewing for a living and am currently working from my home sewing and teaching, although I am still working in the automotive industry as well parttime, but enables me to pursue my true passion of sewing. It's taken a long time to get here. My grandmother started me sewing and I had a wonderful teacher in High School who helped me fine tune and hone my skills. I would be happy to provide references upon request. I have been teaching for the last 6 plus years and have loved every minute of it.

"If you want to learn to sew, Leigh Ann is the best teacher you will ever find. I am an absolute beginner, and I have learned a great deal in only a couple of lessons. I plan on taking many more. She makes learning enjoyable. She explains clearly, she demonstrates every skill, and she has an amazing amount of patience! She is available to answer questions between classes as well. To top it all off, she is a very pleasant person. I recommend her highly."

"Leigh Ann is an amazing teacher. She made feel at ease from the very start. When I first started, I knew absolutely nothing about sewing. In just one lesson I was able to start creating things on my own. Any questions I have are answered completely. Also, Leigh Ann is available for me to call anytime I am in the midst of a project and have questions.
I would highly recommend her as a teacher for anybody wanting to learn how to sew. "
