Hi, Thanks for looking at my profile. I've been performing and teaching all things saxophone for 20 years. I love passing on knowledge regarding this wonderful instrument, whether it be the functioning of the reed and mouthpiece to the importance of the diminished whole tone scale in modern jazz. I thouroughly enjoy teaching students of all ages and abilities, from beginners to pros, from ages 8 to 99.
It is my belief that one can never master the saxophone or music, we must realize that the horn teaches us, that MUSIC TEACHES US! It is from this perspective that I approach teaching students. I always begin by making sure the basic fundamentals are in place, but where each student and I go from there is always different.
