The creative process of knitting is so inspiring and with 40 years of experience behind me I love sharing my craft with others. As a published designer and professional instructor I bring my rich experience to every student I have taught. I am a patient teacher who guides students to reach their full potential while challenging them to move beyond the basics. "One day I decided I would like to learn to knit, luck brought me into a little knitting shop to sign up for a begining class and I met Dorcas who was the instructor. That was about four years ago and thanks to her patients and instruction I am actually able to say I am a knitter. From a wash cloth to a customized sweater Dorcas has taken me down the path step by step. Even though she will now be teaching in the city (and I live near the WI/IL border) I will be hopping on the train to join her classes because she is extremely knowledgable, patient and has a way of explaining even complicated patterns and stitches so that they are understandable. Take a class with her and you will not be dissapointed! "
