  "I took beginner's Cantonese with Lin fall 2011 at UTD. I'm not a native speaker of Chinese, so the learning course for me was quite tough. Lin was very patient, she often made sure I was on top of my lessons with quizzes, and quick reviews. Also, I loved how flexible she was, she would not mind if I asked her to re-teach the subject in which I consistently had trouble with. Aside from the classroom lectures, we had "lessons" at Chinese restaurants in which I would then utilize what the vocabulary taught in class. Overall, if you want to have a good one-on-one tutor for Cantonese/Mandarin, you should really give Lin a try. "
