I am a patient person who can help you learn. I concentrate on learning the language that will help to navigate through any project. I listen to what a student wants to do with what they learn.
Growing up, I was the person who was always trying something new. When it came to thread crafts, I was able to learn how by written and oral instructions, so my teaching style is a mixture of both.
I grew up appreciating my family and had the best dressed "Midge" doll ever. Living in rural North Dakota, the neighbors knew that I could knit and crochet. I remember many occassions where a person would come with a project and ak me to make it for them. From Butterfly bedroom slippers to scarf sets.
Those first projects planted the seed to learn more. I enjoy the opprtunity to help others create special things for themselves and those they care about.
The home based class atmosphere allows for a more open time frame and a comfortable setting to learn in the environment that a student will craft in.
