Ever since I was a little girl I loved beautiful yarns and exotic fiber. Born and raised in Bavaria - Germany, I learned knitting and crocheting as a young child. My father once announced that he, too, can knit, and to prove it, he made a pair of socks. I was very surprised, and I admired my father for his talent. A little later, while in elementary school, I had one two-hour period a week of “Handarbeit”. During this time, my teachers nurtured my eagerness to learn helped me master the basics & go beyond. Over time, I became quite proficient, & like most young girls, I made my own “fashion” items.
After high school, I studied home economics, knitting & crocheting is part of the requirement. After college & student teaching, I landed my first teaching job. Later I decided to become proficient in another field. in 2005 I received my master’s degree in educational technology. Although my teaching assignment, stressful at times, when I'm off I devote more time to knitting then technology

"Finally someone really understood the way I learn best and successfully taught me the correct way how to knit continental, hold the yarn and how to knit my first swatch ever in continental. THANK YOU Veronika, you're the best!"

"I have taken private lesson from Ms. Delvaux and am impressed with what this teacher knows and the way she is teaching. I've learned the basics in one hour, casting on, knit stitch and binding off. After my second lesson I knew how the purl stitch is being constructed and started my very first scarf. I have completed 10 lessons and knitted two scarfs, a baby pullover, a lace shrug and now I am eager to learn the secret of sock knitting. She is a wonderful teacher who really knows her stuff. She teaches out of her home studio and the yarns she is using are of above average quality and fiber. She uses only natural fibers such as bamboo, cotton, silk, wool, merino woll, alpaca just to name a few. The groups are small and it's more like a knit circle. I love my Saturday knit classes because Veronika is making learning fun.

"Veronika has incredible patience, and is a extreme knowledgeable teacher. I have learned knitting as well as crocheting from her. I learned continental knitting and am very happy that I had the opportunity to learn from such an outstanding teacher. We where a class of 25 students, at times we had 30 students in attendance. Neat less to and Veronika managed with ease and we all had fun learning new knitting techniques and special ways to accomplish our knitting goals. If you are looking for someone who can teach the un-teachable.... pick her... she is the best of the best. She taught for nearly 20 years at the Azusa Adult School knitting and other crafts. She is good...take a look at her blog and see for yourself. "
