Roger Gilbert

My Friends call me "Thunder" or Wakiya in Lakota. I am an author, Martial artist, spiritual teacher and seeker, pilot, musician (native american flute and drums) artist, graphic artist, and taoist wanderer. My formal education centers around Aviation and I attended school and taught flight instruction at national University. I have been a flight instructor and flew for the Government for a while. My martial Training consists of over 25 years of Tai Chi and I got my first Tai chi training at The Taoist Sanctuary (Yang style) Tai Chi in the tradition of Chen Man Ching. I then went on to study San Soo Kung fu receiving my black belt with master Jerry Peterson who also developed the S.C.A.R.S system of hand to hand combat taught to the Navy Seals and other special ops forces. I concurrently studied Aikido under Sensei Walter Muryaz. I have about 30 years of training, teaching, and practicing under my belt. I have since created my own style based on all the above. I have studied acupuncture and received a certificate from the famous Pacific college of oriental Medicine,
