"I have been taking voice lessons since I was pushed into musical theatre at the age of 10 by my Grandmother, and I have been through at least 6 teachers. Mrs. Westcott has been the only teacher that I really have felt that understood where I wanted to be and really took an interest in my future. She has a great teaching style that I have enjoyed very much, and I sound noticeably better while taking regular lessons with her. I really highly recommend her; she will take the time to know you and your style while helping you further your talent. I plan on returning to her studio this summer and I enjoy her lessons more than the instruction that I receive at my university as a music major."

"As an adolescent, singing was my passion. As I grew older, I lost touch with this joy. Without Carol’s tutelage and direction, I would have never reconnected with my love for vocal performance. I have been studying with Carol for the past year and I have seen a vast improvement in my vocal skill and performance quality. Her experience, extensive technical knowledge and inventive teaching methods have helped me work through personal vocal challenges. Her familiarity with Baltimore’s local performance community is invaluable to a student interested in connecting with professionals involved with the performing arts. Thanks to Carol, I am doing what I love again; singing."

"I actually hate revealing my 17-year old daughter's "secret weapon" in successfully auditioning and performing! It's a competitive world out there! But Carol Westcott is so good, I really must share the secret. Every lesson yields a marked vocal improvement. Not only that, Carol advises my daughter on strategies for auditions and insider opportunities for building her singing credentials. If you or a loved one really is serious about vocal training, you should call immediately to schedule a weekly time slot. As the word gets out, I know I must guard my daughter's spot with teeth bared!"
