About Beginning & Intermediate Ukulele classes

The Ukulele has experienced a resurgence of popularity once again. It is the ideal string instrument for children of all ages. It’s size is perfect for small hands and it provides all the enjoyment of the guitar without the struggle. Children receive instruction in note reading, composition, music theory & technique, while having fun learning new songs. Singing and performance skills are included in the class. Skills learned are easily transferred to the guitar, mandolin, or other string instruments. Class is 45 minutes each week for 15 weeks with a final recital, 3 – 5 students per class, ages 7-9 years old.
