Web Graphic Designer

We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented problem-solver, with rock-solid wire-framing, visual design, and layout skills. Also:

• You are able to take direction from product managers but still have a strong point of view and can rationalize your decisions.
• You work quickly and feel comfortable working with a very lean, iterative process in a fast-paced environment.
• You have basic knowledge of web development - namely how your design translates to development. No coding experience required, but helpful.
• You have strong visual, verbal and written communication skills.
• You are proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite.
• You have a related college degree or at least 4 years of relevant work experience.

Ways to Earn Bonus Points:

• You have HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge, or better yet, can code your own designs.
• You’ve worked for a startup, or have aspirations to.

UI/UX Designer

Visual design is not enough. We're looking for someone who understands interaction design, information architecture, and has a keen sense of UI and UX. Also:

• Proven experience building complex, multi- user flows with varying use cases.
• A creative problem-solver, detail oriented with stellar concepting skills.
• Rock-solid design layout & wireframing skills.
• Previous experience designing mid-sized websites is huge. Bonus points if you’ve worked on e-commerce &/ or community-based sites.
• Someone with a strong point of view who can rationalize decisions- no robots need apply!
• Good understanding of designing for multiple platforms required
• Basic knowledge of web development- namely how your design translates to development.
• Strong visual, verbal and written communication skills. You’ll work remotely at times as well as work with others who work remotely.
• Must work quickly and be comfortable with a very lean, iterative process.
• Startup experience is a big plus.
• Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills a plus.
• Mobile experience also a plus, but not required.
• Although this is a project-based position and you can work remotely, we prefer that you join our cozy Murray Hill office. We are also potentially looking for someone to grow with us long-term.

Web Developer

We are looking for an intellectually curious Software Engineer to play a prime role and hope to find someone who won't mind delving into all levels of our stack. You'll have significant experience with Javascript, AJAX, CSS, and HTML (bonus if they are familiar with HTML5/CCS3) and be comfortable working with PHP, SQL, and third party APIs. You're comfortable moving fast, wearing several hats and are willing to push hard to evolve our site architecture.

Experienced Copywriter

Although our focus is the website, many aspects of our business also resemble a cutting-edge media company and we're looking to match our message to our mission. We want a clear, innovative writer with effective, versatile communication skills. You have previous experience in writing-intensive positions, a background in marketing and communications and you're a team player. Experience at a startup or internet company is a plus.
